This workshop will be on SUNDAY 11th August from 1.30 pm – 3.30pm and this session will be £45 . Materials will be provided, but if you have your own tabletop easel or your own brushes that you like to use, then please bring them along.
During the course of this workshop we will be using the medium of oils. I will be showing how to mix and blend the colours, how to add light and shade, and guidance on the ideal brush/tools to use including a palette knife. We will be focusing on the study of a still life of a vase of flowers, looking at colour and texture in an impressionist style.
These workshops are ideal for beginners or for those wishing to brush up on their skills. We will be working on canvas and you will be able to take home the painting that you have produced.
It is advised to come in old clothes but disposable aprons are available. Refreshments are also provided.
