Thursday 30th March from 10 am – 12 pm. This morning’s taster session will cost £20 and includes materials. This taster session will be a great way to experiment with using a wide variety of media to create a landscape/image of your choice. You can either bring a photograph or an image from a magazine that you have seen. Alternatively, you can use some sample images that I will provide or borrow from some art books that will be on hand for you to look at. You will learn to use different papers, paints, and textures to create your landscape. Materials that will be used include newspaper, tissue paper, wallpaper, tape, string, acrylic paints, pastels, charcoals, etc. It will be a fun morning with a demo and then plenty of guidance from myself.
Refreshments will be provided, tea, coffee, and biscuits.
Please bring your own sketchbooks to work from. If you haven’t got a sketchbook or scrapbook to hand, I can provide good-quality cartridge paper to work on.
